The first in an irregular series of short autobio comix by Ganzeer. This issue features Ganzeer’s critically acclaimed short, SELECTIVE MYOPIA, which first appeared on The Nib in 2016. A story that takes place at the intersection of street-art, rebellion, and migration, it’s one of Ganzeer’s most personal works. It is paired with a thematically-related essay penned in 2011 titled SEVEN THINGS I LEARNED FROM THE MASK OF FREEDOM which appears here in print for the first time.
