“This is a facsimile of an 8 x 10 softcover moleskin w/ natural toned paper containing drawings produced using alcohol markers. After completing the sketchbook I was interested in the idea of digital distribution and economy of digital files, so I compressed the sketchbook images by exporting scans of the drawings as pngs with the bare minimum colors required. When given the opportunity to collaborate with pet riso, it made sense to reprint this project with another layer of reduction, opting for a 3 color process. The sketchbook has been reproduced without edits to order or content outside of the recoloring.”
