Painting is the Language of the Demon

"Painting is the Language of the Demon" by Tom Bubul features 58 pages of wild black-and-white drawings, originally made on quarter and eighth-size folded printer paper as a means to sustain creative output during a period of transition in the artist’s life.

In this book, these drawings are spread out across 11 x 17 spreads, beautifully amplifying the tempestuous marks and messages of the original sketch drawings.

The book is completed by a newsprint insert with handwritten reflections on the artist's painting practice, and a risograph printed cover on bright demon-red paper.
