Other Networks: Interspecies Communications Operations Manual

Jazmyn Crosby

Other Networks: Interspecies Communications Operations Manual is a booklet produced in support of Lori Emerson’s Other Networks and released through the Media Archeology Lab at the University of Boulder in 2026. Other Networks is a book about every possible communication network. This zine explores the speculative network of communication with the more-than-human world through a series of poems, essays, and images. It centers on the idea of species loneliness and asks if you could start a conversation with the more-than-human world, what would that look like?
