Long Distance Music

Long Distance Music is a book project by Jazmyn Crosby that investigates how communication is affected by distance. The pages of the book are navigated by smartphone, each page houses a series of QR codes, as well as writings and speculations, phone numbers, and phone games. Written mostly during the pandemic, a moment when the nature of the internet as a social space has come into sharp focus, this work questions notions of space-time and obsolescence.
