"i forgot to draw yesterday" is a collection of sketchbook works that span from 2016 to 2022. My sketchbook drawings, while informing my paintings in various ways, exist as their own entity. Through humor, repetition, and experimentation, they act as portals to my thoughts at specific moments in time. They are artifacts of vulnerability. And while some threads are linear, many are woven into a web of memories that are codified through a personal symbology. These drawings demand patience, and if given it, they'll return that generosity in spades.
