The eponymous bird in bird comic. stands out in the rain, hoping it will wash away her terrible personality. She has to remind herself that she exists while walking down the street. She complains that there's not enough dopamine out in nature. In a beautifully deadpan series of short vignettes, Ruby Carter's spare line, sharp wit, and languid pacing reveal a deep sense of yearning, uncertainty, and moments of joy.
