✭ Bautizo (“Baptism”) is a comics anthology published in Mexico City by Grupo Shampoo, a group of young artists inspired by manga, anime and life in our fucked up city. Featuring new work by Gabriela Escarzaga, Poni Alta and Sofía, Mateo Pineda, Mónica Quant and Tamara D. Tamayo. Cool, irreverent and humorous, and if you can’t read Spanish, it’s worth it just for the screen printed cover alone... which still smells strongly enough of thinner to make you feel like you understand Spanish ; )
