Her name is Amy. At twenty-four she has all the time she needs to get off her ass, move into her own place, and find a better job. She could. But she just never does. She's not unambitious. Let's say she's committed. She changes what needs changing and stands by what works. As far as life philosophies go, this is not a bad approach. She would agree if she stopped moving long enough to think about her life in any serious way whatsoever. That's the problem with Amy: she doesn't think (they say) for more than two seconds. She just throws herself hard into whatever whim happens to make it through her thick skull. And this leads to trouble.
