Always Time by Ben Bauman collects a series of observational skeleton drawings birthed during a week of social isolation, psychedelic immersion and emotional catharsis. Adrift in the wake of a series of personal tragedies, Bauman's charcoal traces the substructures of our vehicle through this entropic realm. Coal, paper and risograph are embraced for their inherent qualities as raw materials of rebirth and reproduction. As the page turns, sorrow and terror are absorbed by acceptance and humor. 'Is there' or 'is it' always time to embrace in a world of loss and distraction?
