Completed in 2019 and printed in an edition of 25, A Slow Retreat is a 6 1/2'' x 8 1/2'' 54-page perfect bound photo book that explores the mythology and lure of travel in context of the failures of the American dream, and how those failures ripple through both mainstream and subcultural worlds.  The photographs in this book were taken from 2013-2017 in various parts of the United States.
